Built in the 1790s, the original parts of Waters House is the oldest house in Germantown.

The original brick section of the house was built on a 200 acre farm known as Pleasant Fields by Basis Waters on land inherited from his father, William Waters, of Brookefield, Maryland.

Tours of the home are available on Wednesday and Saturday.
