The Division of Solid Waste Services provides weekly, curbside recycling collections to Montgomery County residents. (If you live within city or town limits, your recycling and refuse programs may vary from the County's programs).
The Division is responsible for the collection of trash from about 40% of Montgomery County's homes, primarily in the southern part of the County. This service is provided through contracts with independent trash collection companies. All other single-family and town homes in the County have trash collection through private subscriptions directly with the trash haulers and must make their own trash collection arrangements.
